This Privacy Policy explains how TradieCue handles personal information in connection with the TradieCue mobile app, website, and related services. TradieCue is operated by FLOWNETIC CONSULTING PTY LTD (ABN 54 692 614 841), referred to as Flownetic Consulting.
TradieCue is built for solo tradies and very small trade businesses. It helps users turn rough voice notes, typed notes, job details, photos, quotes, variations, invoices, and payment follow-up notes into editable paperwork that the user can review and manually share.
1. Information We May Collect
Depending on how you use TradieCue, we may collect or process the following information:
- account and business details, such as your name, business name, role, trade, email, phone number, ABN, GST settings, payment terms, and bank payment details you choose to enter;
- customer and job information, such as customer names, site addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, job notes, job status, quote details, variation details, invoices, payment amounts, payment promises, and follow-up notes;
- user content, such as voice notes, typed notes, pasted messages, photos, files, draft corrections, and customer reply evidence you add to the app;
- app settings and local app state, such as language preferences, trade defaults, draft preferences, and whether AI assist is enabled;
- technical and diagnostic information needed to operate the app and backend, such as request metadata, error logs, device or app version details, and service reliability data.
2. Voice, AI, And Draft Processing
TradieCue can use hosted AI and voice services to transcribe voice notes, interpret rough job notes, organise draft line items, and clean customer-facing wording. If hosted AI is enabled, voice notes, typed notes, job details, attached evidence, and draft corrections may be sent to TradieCue's backend and relevant service providers for processing.
Pricing stays in the user's control. TradieCue is designed to ask for missing price details rather than invent prices. Customer-facing messages are previewed first and are not sent automatically.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide the app's core quote, variation, job memory, invoice, and payment follow-up features;
- save and organise job records, drafts, customer details, photos, and business settings;
- transcribe voice notes and prepare editable draft outputs when AI or voice processing is enabled;
- support business workspace, cloud sync, backup, and shared job memory features where enabled;
- maintain security, prevent misuse, debug problems, and improve reliability;
- prepare App Store subscription access, restore purchases, and entitlement handling when paid access is enabled.
4. Local Data And Cloud Data
The current app can store jobs, drafts, customer details, business profile details, photos, settings, and UI state locally on the device. To reduce local plaintext risk in the current mobile build, bank account name, BSB, and account number fields are not kept in the app's persisted local state unless a future secure storage control is added. The Settings reset action is intended to clear local app data from that device.
Where cloud sync, backup, account access, AI processing, attachment storage, or subscription-linked entitlements are enabled, TradieCue stores business-scoped records in hosted systems with account controls, business-level permissions, private storage for sensitive files, and deletion request paths.
5. Sharing With Other Parties
We may share information with:
- service providers that help provide hosting, storage, AI processing, voice transcription, crash diagnostics, email, communication, payments, or App Store subscription services;
- Apple, where needed for App Store distribution, subscriptions, purchase restoration, and App Review requirements;
- members of your business workspace, if crew/member access is enabled and you invite or allow them to access shared job records;
- law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties where required by law or to protect rights, safety, security, and service integrity.
TradieCue does not sell customer job records. TradieCue does not automatically send quotes, variations, invoices, or payment follow-ups to customers.
6. Third-Party Services
TradieCue may rely on third-party services for hosting, AI, voice transcription, address lookup, email, storage, subscriptions, analytics, diagnostics, or other app functionality. These providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Retention And Deletion
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide TradieCue, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, improve reliability, and protect the service. Local data can be cleared from the device through the app's reset controls where available.
In the app's Settings area, users can request data export, account deletion, or business data deletion for hosted records. These requests are handled by Flownetic Consulting support, and we may need to verify account or business ownership before deleting hosted records. Some information may be retained where reasonably required for legal, tax, dispute, security, App Store subscription, or fraud-prevention reasons.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No app, device, network, or hosting service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should avoid entering information that is not needed for job paperwork and protect access to your device and account.
9. Children
TradieCue is intended for trade businesses and is not directed to children.
10. International Processing
Some service providers may process or store information outside Australia. Where this occurs, information may be subject to the laws of those countries.
11. Your Choices And Rights
You can choose whether to use hosted AI where the app provides that setting. You can choose what job, customer, photo, voice, and business details you enter. You can review and edit drafts before sharing them. Australian users may have rights to request access to, or correction of, personal information under applicable privacy laws.
12. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as TradieCue changes, especially before a public App Store release. The latest version will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
